Ernie’s Incredible Illucinations task 2 Redone

Auntie May and the man positioned facing the audience diagonally so the audience will notice they are still watching the fight. For example they would still considering the audiences sight lines therefore this would help the actor show they can still keep in mind the audience’s sightlines while performing.

Secondly I would have the actor playing Ernie hot seated to find out the backstory on how they stopped Auntie May from going on to fight more fights since Ernie made her ‘heavyweight champion of the world.’ This could develop the performance because it will demonstrate to the audience what extent Ernie’s powers go and how chaotic Ernie’s powers will go. Also some questions I will ask the actor is ‘How did you come up with the idea you turn Auntie May into a wrestler. Did any lasting damage ensue? This will enlighten the audience in the fact they know even more about to what extent Ernie’s illucinations and what lasting damage they can do. The actor would find out that Ernie is an imaginative boy and he has a stock of plenty ideas which he can use when he pleases and the actor would feel powerful for Ernie’s has tons of power at his disposal however the actor should feel really panicky because the power hasn’t got a limit and can be triggered at the worst times. This would be achieving the KPI ‘describe how a hot seat can help develop a performance.

Thirdly to show the objective of Auntie May, I would make the actress playing her have very exaggerated gestures. For example when she tells the man to get into the ring she would make gestures like pointing at the ring and prodding he man in the chest while saying ‘are you a coward or what’ and the actor playing the man frown deeply and when she gets in the ring she will have very exaggerated moments getting through the ring barriers or over just clambers over the barricades.

Finally, I would have the actors improvise on the scene where the fights takes place. For example Kid Saracen could mock Auntie May for being ‘old and frail’ but she in retaliation she mocks The Kid for his reputation for what good is knocking out other people out.  This is where the fight begins the actors can add their own thing in like using their own style to make up dangerous moves but however there is no physical contact for that could injure an actor seriously
